I have to admit that I have always been some what of a shampoo and conditioner snob! I’ve always bought my hair care products at a salon…usually Jc Penny’s, turning my nose up at most other brands…Suave included. Well, over the last couple of months money has been tight here and we have been cutting corners where ever possible. My hair care products were one of the areas that just had to be cut…I protested and pouted for days before I went shopping. I ended up buying the Suave Naturals Aloe & Water lily Shampoo & Conditioner. I was pretty skeptical because the 22.5 oz bottles only cost $1.49 each (on sale)…I mean how well could it work …right?
Well...over all I have to say that it is actually a decent shampoo /conditioner. It has a light slightly floral fresh scent. The shampoo lathers surprisingly well and my hair actually feels just as clean as my expensive salon brand made my hair feel.
The conditioner is also decent…Not as intensive in the moisturizing area for my hair …but it is pretty good. It does rinse out well and doesn’t feel or look like it leaves noticeable heavy residue on my hair.
The bottle says that the shampoo & conditioner are both infused with aloe vera and vitamin E.
All I can say is that so far I am pretty happy with Suave Naturals Aloe & Water lily Shampoo & Conditioner ( been using it for 3 weeks)…I mean I can’t find anything to complain about...and I have been looking! I thought for sure my hair would dry up and just look awful in general, but actually my hair is clean, soft, manageable and healthy looking.
We bought ours at Wal-mart and I would imagine that it is easy to find at stores that sell Suave products.
