Becoming a member of Shared Reviews gave me the inspiration to start writing Non-Fiction again. I had lost touch with some of the basic requirements for writing a letter - for example Editors cover letter and page layout. I decided to have a look on Amazon for a basic "How to do" book on non fiction writing. What appeared to be the best choice and most appropriate was a book called "Successful Non-Fiction Writing" by Nicholas Corder. The author of several books, and ex school teacher - Corder explains how he began his writing career as just a hobby, and eventually became very successful in freelance. The book describes how to begin your writing, from the very onset of ideas and research - to the structure and lay out of pages. Finding oulets for your work, and approaching the correct channels are all explained in easy to follow chapters. I found this book a valuable asset and a real commodity to my writing.
