When cold season hits, I am always on the look out for a product that will effectively relieve congestion. Sudacare Shower Soothers are NOT it! When I saw this product on the store shelf, I thought it was a great concept! I enjoy taking hot showers when I am feeling stuffed-up because I find the steam provides some relief. So I thought that this product, that is designed for use in the shower, would enhance that experience and provide additional relief. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The tablets were very easy to use. Simply open the foil package and place the tablet (which is approximately 1 3/4 inches around, maybe a 1/2 inch thick) on the floor of the shower. It is activated when it comes in contact with water. It claims to give off vanilla, eucalyptus, menthol & camphor vapors, however, none of these things are actually listed with the ingredients. Not sure what is going on there? I found the scent to be just OK, not exactly pleasant and "soothing". And actually, the vapors seemed to burn my eyes a bit. The tablet lasted longer than I expected, not quite my whole shower (which I admit, was rather long), but close to 10 minutes. I really didn't feel any benefit from the vapors in providing relief from my congestion, besides what my normal "steamy" shower would have provided. The tablets come in a box of 3, and the other 2 are still in the box and will probably never get used. I was very disappointed in the Sudacare Shower Soothers!
