Sudoku is the newest puzzle craze in the United States. I am an analytical person, so I thought I would give the simple 9x9 grid a try. The game itself is unique, challenging and fun. The 9x9 grids ask you to fill in numbers 1-9 in each line, not to be duplicated within the line or smaller grid in the larger grid. The book quality was okay, the pages were a bit hard to erase from when I would make a mistake, but otherwise the quality was good.
The book offers different levels of play, from "Light and Easy" to "Beware! Very challenging, " with all the answers in the back (in case you get stuck I assume). I started out in the easy pages, but quickly learned the strategy of sudoku to move ahead to moderate and found a whole new game. I had to study those grids hard and long before making my choice of number to fill the square. I did almost all of the moderate puzzles (with some help from the back!) before trying to take on the challenging puzzles. Those took even longer! I have yet to finish one of the beware puzzles, but know with time and patience, I should be able to before long!
