I received this most unexpectedly, about two and half years ago, from a close friend of my grandma's. The funny thing is at that point, I had never even met her before! It was sort of like, here's a surprise for you. Enjoy! Fine by me.
It came to me in a Coach box with the tags still on it. Unfortunately at this point, I don't remember the exact price. I think it was $129.00, but it could have been $149.00.
The body of the bag is made out of suede. The straps are made of leather and suede. The bottom of the bag is leather. The main inside pocket is made of leather. On the inside mini pocket, the outside is leather, the inner part feels like suede.
The drawstring is leather. It pulls closed pretty easily, but it doesn't close completely. If I have pens or little bits in there and the bag gets turned over, things tumble out. I much prefer zippered bags. I think they are much more secure and safe. The bag has some heft to it because of the thick materials. It is a bit heavy with nothing it.
Some good points: The bag smells really yummy because of all that genuine leather goodness. It's my favorite shade of all time (Black)! I love the big buckets and holes on the straps.
The dimensions of the bag are as follows: Height of the strap from an end to the middle is 19", 12" across front, 10 1/2" height, 10" width of base and 5 1/2" height of base.
