I bought this shampoo at a local market nearby. It comes in a pink container and it's not that expensive. As the tv commercial says, "Put the spell on your hair" (according to them, it's the softness spell). And yes, it did put d spell on my hair. But the other way. Instead, my dry hair got even drier after days of using this shampoo. I could'nt even comb my hair with my fingertips anymore! The smell is good, very light, (you can only smell it right after taking a bath). After an hour or two, you can't smell it anymore. It's not long-lasting unlike its other competitor.
I dont know what's with this shampoo that made my hair unmanageable. There are some rumors here in our country that this shampoo contains an ingredient used in the process of embalming, particularly, formaldehyde, i think. Maybe they are using it to prevent the growth of germs in the shampoo. But formaldehyde is scary. That chemical is used in manufacturing and chemical industries, and as a preservative by anatomists, embalmers, and pathologists. Being exposed to formaldehyde may increase the risk of developing leukemia and brain cancer.
Yes, the manufacturers of Sunsilk admitted that they put just a little amount in the shampoo. Just a little? I think it's still harmful.
Now, I already stopped using Sunsilk. I am using other shampoos. Since then, my hair started to grow normally.
