"Super Smash Bros. Brawl" is the third, and most recent addition to the "Super Smash Bros." line of game published by Nintendo. The game itself is a side-scrolling fighting game where you get to choose one of many characters to play as, and then you try to beat the tar out of your opponents. This brings hours of enjoyment watching characters fly across the screen as you use the environment, special attacks, and items at your disposal.

With 35 characters and 41 arenas total (plus level editor) This game has endless possiblities for mixing things up and having an amazing game everytime you play. The characters themselves are more popular characters from classic nintendo games (and 1 sony game) from Snake of "Metal Gear" fame, to Sonic the Hedgehog, there is a vast diversity of characters, all having unique moves and style of play.

But sadly, The single player modes leave you with the desire to play against thinking opponents, as the AI can be out-witted fairly easily. What's worse is the fact that to unlock alot of the characters, you must first beat the story mode, which can take anywhere from 5-15 hours to complete (on average).

In short, this game is amazing, but only if you have enough people. It is best if you can group up 4 people to play against each other, but even 3 players will give you an epic battle. with a vast amount of great characters, and great levels to play against your friends on, I give this game an 8.3/10 mainly taking off because of the lacking story and single player gameplay.
