Being a fan of Superman when I was young, I enjoyed watching Superman Doomsday, after so many years of not having seen Superman in the animated series. This time, he faces the strongest enemy he could ever face, a killing machine that has been so strong that even the strongest powers of the galaxy could not kill, but only imprison.

Lex unearths the pod-ship-prison that hold Doomsday and unleashes this threat through the world. The fight between Superman and Doomsday is very tough, and for the first time, I can see that Superman is matched. The man of steel, for the first time in many of the city people's eyes, is bleeding. He is losing. Superman dies in this battle.

Lex, on the other hand, is not content to have it end this way. He recreates Superman clones from his DNA, but these Supermen are not good. They are destructive, hot headed, and very much different from the original superman.

It turns out that Superman is not actually dead, and he is restored. Thus, it becomes a fight between the good and evil Superman.

It was actually worth it to see Superman in the black costume (the good one wears it, to amplify the amount of sunlight his body receives since he is not fully recovered).

Worth adding to your Superman collection!
