If you love scary shows, then this is the show for you! I can't watch it alone as it tends to scare me a bit too much but in a good way. I've literally jumped out of the seat at some of the "ah Ha's" that happen, and then giggle with embarrassment. Or hide my face in a pillow as I am really scared.

Not only are the episodes themselves reason enough to buy Season One (and also Season Two, but this review is for Season One), there are two commentary tracks on key episodes that are a lot of fun to watch for anyone who might be interested in the show, as well as hardcore fans, hilarious bloopers, and two featurettes, unaired scenes and several other fun extras. Totally worth buying for anyone who likes horror movies (or even people who don't because I promise, it's *way* better than your typical horror movie), classic rock, classic cars, Americana, urban legends, myths, folklore, or just really great stories because, at heart, that's what this series is - a really *great* story that I think most people will be able to relate to in some way.

My personal favorite episodes would have to be episode 6 "Skin, " episode 14 "Nightmare, " episode 19 "Provenance, " episode 20 "Dead Man's Blood, " and the finale "Devil's Trap." And it helps that this dvd has bloopers(which are hilarious) and this segment called "A Day in the Life of Jared and Jensen" which is also pretty funny and worth a couple dozen watches.
