When cooking, I love using good quality cookware. My favorite is a small 1 qt. saucepan, I've used for years. It's perfect, but not big enough for cooking larger quantities. What I needed was a 2 qt saucepan....one that was going to last for a very long time and easy to clean.

Recently, after comparing several brands and prices both in-store and on-line, I purchased a T-Fal 2 qt. saucepan with perforated glass lid. The saucepan has a beautiful dark blue non-stick exterior, gray non-stick interior and a soft-touch handle. The bottom has an even heat base, so heat is evenly distributed to provide more reliable cooking results.

The saucepan is very easy to use since foods don't stick to the non-stick surface. When cooking, I use silicone or Teflon utensils to protect the non-stick surface of the saucepan. Using sharp metal utensils in the cookware can damage the surface. The see-through glass perforated lid and pouring spout, makes cooking more convenient. The soft-touch handle makes gripping the handle more comfortable to lift or move from the stove.

Although I haven't used my cookware in the oven, T-Fal cookware with plastic handles or knobs is safe to use in an oven up to 350 degrees. Those with metal or stainless steel handles can be used in an oven up to 500 degrees.

Cleaning my new cookware is a breeze, which makes cooking a lot more pleasant. I wash the saucepan in warm soapy water with a soft dishcloth or sponge, then hand dry with a soft dish towel. Using anything abrasive may scratch the surface of the cookware. The cookware can be placed in a dishwasher, however some detergents may discolor or damage the exterior finish. I prefer to keep mine looking great by hand washing.

With quality products at affordable prices, T-Fal is a brand I can depend on. I know with proper care, my cookware will last for years!
