The T-Mobile version of the iPhone called the G1 has a smattering of features and an attractive interface. Eye-catching, sleek, and technological, the G1 delivers in all areas. Tired of the Sidekick LX I got the G1 hoping it would be better than the Sidekick. The G1 is less chunky than the Sidekick and has a lot more cool features and a touch screen. I would definitely recommend purchasing one if you like keeping up with todays technology. Although some critics complain about the keyboard I think it provides comfort for users who don't want to commit to touchscreen typing. The phones selling point, the Android Market, has more than impressed me. With a ton of cool games and applications for free download, you cannot go wrong. Another feature that impressed me was the Amazon Music application. This application allows you to download music from Amazon for 99 cents per song. The music is able to be transferred to your computer and played on your iTunes. In this respect, the phone also serves as an iPod for me. However one downfall is that you can only use the headphones that the phone comes with as opposed to standard jack headphones. The battery life has never failed me. It charges faster than any phone I have ever had and retains power efficiently. I have never had the phone turn off on me due to low battery. The G1 is very efficient in using power. The screen display is crisp, beautiful and very pleasing to the eye. Another appealing feature is the unique screen unlock. It requires you to draw a pattern instead of having a numbered passcode. The G1 is a unique phone for a unique person and it impresses all who behold it.
