I have been doing Tae Bo for about 14 years now and I love it! I started with some girls from work and was addicted. I have been adding to my collection of workouts over the years. I was super excited when I found this set at Costco a few years ago.

The Tae Bo Amped series includes 5 full workouts:

Jump Start Cardio - 41 minutes

Fat Burn Accelerator - 52 minutes

Full Throttle - 55 minutes

Core Express - 31 minutes

Live in LA - 43 minutes

It also includes an extendable weighted bar called the amplifier to add even more muscle toning to the workouts.

Overall I love the workouts. Billy is high energy and very encouraging. Early in any of his workouts I am breathing hard and sweating. In fact, when I first started the Amped series, I didn't even touch the Amplifier bar, the video alone was enough of a workout, and I felt it all over the next day! These workouts are fantastic for burning fat and toning your muscles. With regular use you'll see toned arms, legs, back and even abs! He has participants of varying ability on the video, which I like, they're not all super in shape pros like his daughter Shelley!

I wish he spent a little more time on proper technique, especially in the kicking sections (I am a very weak kicker, I have issues with babance!) I also have a hard time when he "Amps" up the workouts. He does all the moves at double time, which I can't do yet. I simply don't have the coordination. I have to continue doing the excercise at regular pace. I also wish that he had included an express, or short workout. Now that I have 2 kids I find it very hard to devote and hour to a workout. I loved his 8 minute workout in his other series.

If you are looking for a workout to whip you into shape fast, this series will certainly do it. All five workouts are intense, high energy fat burners from start to finish. If you are new to working out, take your time, don't be discouraged if you can't finish the whole workout, just do what you can. Also be sure to get clearance from your Doctor first, that's always recommended.
