I had recently bought this hub after my previous hub stopped working. On the top, its a nice midnight blue and the rest is grey or black. It is smaller than the previous hub, but still it does what it is supposed to do. This one holds 4 usb devices. My previous held six, but was more bulkier than this one. This one is more designed for laptops in mind, which is perfect since I use a laptop.
When I first opened it, I was not sure where the usb part was to install it to the computer, but I did find it on the side. It is not a long cord, but it reaches, which is perfect for laptops which do not need a long length. If you have a desktop computer, this will not work with your computer. Don't even try it.
I like the way its laid out where 3 of the usb slots are on the side and then on the long end side, there is another. I have never had any problems with it so far. Once you plug it into the computer, it reads the hub and then installs whatever it need to make it readable. This is what you would call plug and play and that is what most pieces of hardware use today when it comes to windows.
