I was browsing the Electronics section of Walmart the other day and ran across a lot of Video Games for just $15.00. I decided to stop and see if tehre was anything interesting in there. I almost imediatly saw the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game for PS2. I don't know about you but when I was younger I was a HUGE TMNT fan. I know babysit for one of my friends (who was also a huge TMNT fan when we were growing up)little boys on occation. He's 4 years old and he's getting interested in the turtle in a half shell now too. SO I just had to get this game.
The graffics are pretty well done sometimes it's hard to tell how far or near the next obsticle you have to jump to is but for the most part it's pretty clear. You have to be a bit creative with it since the turtles can climb walls, fly (yes, I said fly), and throw each other across large gaps.
Challenge wise it's pretty good. It can be tough in places for the average gamer but for the most part it's mostly running, jumping and fighting the enemies. Some of the boss fights are pretty tough but if you are concentrating you can get them pretty quickly. Like I said before a little 4 year old boy can make his way through the levels with only help if he gets dioriented or needs help with a boss fight. For the most part he can get through the levels on his own though.
You collect coins as you go through the levels and the levels are timed as well. The better you do in all the elements the better your score will be and you can also unlock challange maps.
Personally I think it's just fun playing a video game that brings back so many AWESOME childhood memories for me. And don't forget to order a pizza for Michelangelo, he gets hungry while fighting.
