Texas Fish and Game is a magazine published in Texas for Texans. These guys do a marvelous job putting information out there. The magazine covers topics on fishing techniques, tips on filleting, and even gives you GPS plot points for hot fishing spots.
When my husband told me, "I'm ordering a subscription to Texas Fish and Game." I said it would be a waste of money; you can find all of the fishing information you need online. I was wrong.
Every month the feature articles cover something you may have never thought of. The fishing report section highlights what's hot and what's not in lures, lakes, and rivers.
The water coverage is superb and stretches the Gulf coastline up to the Texas Panhandle and across. You can even find information on obscure areas.
The tips and techniques they cover goes way beyond what I had expected. The way points, plot charters, and coastal prediction information has proved to be helpful to us on more than one occasion.
Texas Fish and Game also covers hunting, but we're not hunters. I have perused some of the hunting articles and they cover topics on blinds, rifles, and trapping techniques.
We are on our third year with Texas Fish & Game. I'm sure we will keep it up as long as we are able to fish.
TF&G offers gifts with your initial subscription and renewals. The customer service has been excellent. The magazines always arrive in a timely manner. This company knows how to keep you coming back for more.
