I LOVE old movies. Especially the old Walt Disney Movies. I recently found The Absent Minded Professor at Walmart on DVD and just had to have it. I had never seen it before so it was one that I just had to have.

The Absent Minded Professor was made in 1961 and is a Black and White film. It stars Fred MacMurray as Professor Brainard. An absent minded professor who has forgotten his own wedding twice already. When he suppose to be at the third scheduled wedding he accidentally discovers a anti gravity substance that he names Flubber. Professor Brainard then uses his new invention to save the college he works at from money troubles and to win back the heart of the women he forgot to marry three times in a row.

This is a fabulous comedy movie. I laughed a lot while watching it and very much enjoyed it. I had seen the recent remake of the film called "Flubber" that stared Robin Williams in the star roll and the original is just as funny as the remake. If you are familiar with the Robin Williams version then you will know what happens in the original. They are very much alike in story line. I would highly recommend the Original film to any one who enjoyed the Robin Williams remake.

The film is in its original Black and White format and is about 90 minutes long. It also features Ed Wynn (you may remember him form Walt Disney's Mary Poppins), Keenan Wynn and Nancy Olson.
