JoAnna Carl has written a series of mysteries called the Chocoholic Mysteries. I have found every book of this series that I've read so far to be very entertaining.
The Chocolate Bridal Bash finds Lee McKinney planning her wedding to Joe Woodyard. Lee is the business manager for her Aunt Nettie's chocolate shop, TenHuis Chocolade. In this story, Lee finds out that her mother left town some thirty years ago on the day she was to be married, something Lee never knew about her mother. She also finds out that her mother's fiance committed suicide right after her mother's disappearance. There is something strange about this entire incident, and Lee wants to find out what her mother is hiding and why she doesn't want to talk about it. Then the death of someone involved in the incident creates even more questions and confusion. What is going on, and how does Lee find out? It makes for a very interesting story, one I found to be very entertaining as well.
There is also some chocolate trivia mixed in with the story, trivia from the author's own life. I enjoyed The Chocolate Bridal Bash very much and was actually sorry to come to the end of the book. There's a surprise or two at the end, also.
All in all, I found it to be a very good story.
