This terrible movie parodies some of the most inspirational sports movies ever. Just to name a few, there are parallels with Rocky, Invincible, The Longest Yard, and Radio. I like some of the spoof movies, but this one was just horrible. There were a few moments where I laughed out loud, but overall, it was just a string of homo-sexual references that may go over a few times, but not for the duration of an entire movie. It stars David Koechner as a retired coach who takes one last job trying to turn a team of misfits into winners. It has all the elements of a funny, feel-good sports movie, but the jokes run out about halfway through the film and since it's not a true sports movie, it doesn't even have that to fall back on. I found myself watching the clock more than the screen and wishing for it to be over. Maybe this movie would be funnier with a roomful of people watching it at a party or something, but if you need that much help, then the movie isn't worth watching.
