When my daughter first tried this yo-yo, it worked great. Then, after about 10 minutes of using it, it began to work very badly. Then, it didn't work at all, and I noticed an ugly crack down the side. I returned it to the store where I purchased it, and found that all of the Avengers had the same crack. (Due to some problem in the manufacturing process, I assume).

I was very dissapointed. Established in 1929 by Donald Duncan, Duncan yo-yos such as the Avenger, the Imperial, the Butterfly, the Freehand, and the Professional, were the best in the business. The Duncan namebrand was legendary. They are what I grew up with, and I was eager to share this with my daughter. But, sadly, nowadays the new owners are cashing in on the name and making inferior products.

By doing some research, I found out that the Yomega brand of yo-yo's is now considered the best on the market. I will buy my daughter one of those, and stay away from the dissapointing Duncan brand.
