Lady GaGa's undoubtly catchy beats and tunes infect the listener to the point where turning down the volume is near impossible. When you look deeper within the sexy, luring, lyrics, you'll find the true results of too much fame, sex, drinking, and partying. The voice and inspiration can easily be mistaken for that of fellow popstar Gwen Stefani, but the solid, blasting beats make this album a song of it's own. "Just Dance" is a great start to the album, as that it sets the basic tone, and gets you on the right track to understand what is "next-to-come". Chart smashing "Poker Face" beautifully causes a sense of shock with an extremely, yet utterly repetitive hook. Lady GaGa may not have the best voice, but for the first album, this was very well put together and may establish a decent career for her for time to come.
