I didn't expect stellar results when I first purchased Neutrogena Skin Clearing oil-free foundation with salicylic acid because I'd tried similar products in the past with few noteworthy results. I found it quite easy to match my skin tone, and I purchased my foundation in the shade Natural Buff (50). The product is advertised as a foundation that both covers and treats blemishes, but I admit that I was skeptical about the potential results.

The first thing I noticed was that the foundation had a nice, light texture when it was applied. When I applied it to my face, it wasn't thick or heavy; rather it gave me a nice, even coverage without leaving my skin feeling greasy. It evened out the different tones of my skin, and still left me looking fresh-faced. After I used the foundation for a few days, I began to notice that my blemishes were, indeed, fading. As I used the foundation on a daily basis, my skin became more even and less prone to breakouts. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the results, and I have made Neutrogena Skin Clearing makeup my regular foundation of choice. I still get an occasional breakout, but this foundation really seems to help keep the blemishes in check without drying my skin. If you are prone to acne breakouts, I'd recommend giving Neutrogena Skin Clearing foundation a try. You might be surprised!
