"The Fox and the Hound" was the 24th full-length animated film made by Disney and they pulled out all the stops. This is a great movie for the entire family. It is the tale of a baby fox and a hunting puppy who don't know that they shouldn't be friends. They grow up together and in fact become the best of friends only to later find out the harsh realities of life. However, when their friendship is put to the test, it survives even though everything in natures says it won't.
I love the message that this teaches young children - that ANYONE can be friends. I have watched it with my daughter and my classes numerous times and talked about that lesson. The graphics/animation in this movie are super. They are really eyecatching and have kept both my child and my students' attention for the entire 83 minutes. In addition, we love the bonus features too - especially the Interactive Trivia Game.
