"Here comes the bride, all dressed in white. There goes the groom, running from the room...
And there's my single mom, spending the next twenty yeards paying for a lavish wedding for a marriage that didn't even last a year.
What happens now? What happens when you've had the fairy tale?
When you've done the big wedding? The dream honeymoon? What happens after the fantasy's over?
You file for divorce. Di-vorce. Such a big concent for what amounts to a little word."
The Frog Prince, a novel by Jane Porter is an excellent read. It is a quick, to the point, incredibly funny and very well told story about a young divorcee trying to find her place in the world without a man. She proves that you don't need a man to be happy and successful. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good chick-lit book. Read it to find out what happens to Holly after her fairytale life comes crashing down.
