Before Neil Strauss even began writing his famed book, I was beginning to read about the "art" of picking up women on internet forums. I learned so much over that time and it has helped me a tremendous amount in life, so obviously, when I heard that "Style" (Neil Strauss) was writing a book about the pick up community I was delighted. I picked up the book the week it came out and immediately was taken aback because the context of the book wasn't what I expected at all. I was expecting a book that explained, in detail, how Neil Strauss whos a bald ugly man, could pick up any woman in the world if he wanted to. The book was more of an autobiography of his life and while it does give you some knowledge of pick up, it wasn't anything that I didn't know before. I expected new and innovative techniques, and was very dissapointed when he failed to deliver.
