Working in a day program with disabled folks I come into contact with many a table game. There are several games out there where one works on building or balancing something or other.
There are 48 playing pieces in this game and a topple tower and stand. You have these round plastic pieces and you are supposed to put as many of them on the topple tower as you can without having any or perhaps the whole thing collapse. The pieces in this game are of four various colors so they have set this up to as many as four people can play.
It is a challenge to balance the tower out as even a small amount on one side can throw the thing out of balance. The clients that really enjoy this game are the ones with fine motor skills. If you shake at all or are not very good with your hands it may prove to be pretty frustrating.
Also I would think twice about having small children play with this if there is any kind of history of putting things in ones mouth because the small pieces could also pose a choking hazard. All in all though the game has proven itself to be quite a bit of fun in our day program setting.
