I bought a really cheap pair of sandals from The Gap about a year ago, fully knowing that I don’t wear sandals often at all because I hate the feel of them. There’s not much in these sandal’s design – they are demure grey color with a black layer in the sole. They are incredibly thin soled, and have no buckles or fasteners. These sandals are the utmost basic in design, and lack every kind of buckle or fastener other sandals might have. Despite hating sandals in general, I find myself wearing these things a lot. They are incredibly comfortable, and more importantly to me, they handle large amounts of water well. Because they are so thin, they do not absorb a lot of water. Therefore, they dry easily and quickly, and they are not irritating to wear if I have to wear them in the shower or at the beach afterwards. I highly recommend checking out The Gap for their basic sandals in a very low price!
