Shoes are never my fancy. I normally wear shoes as long as they still don't "smile" and my toes have not touched the ground yet. I know when I need to buy shoes and I normally buy after many years for the next one. I choose comfort over style and sometimes, price is not important because you don't get a cheap shoes which provides great comfort. Not that I have seen any until lately.
My mom gave me her Alice Crocs because it didn't fit her anymore. I was not a big fan of those ubiquitious "mushroom-like" shoes although may of my friends who have been wearing Crocs for sometime swear by their comfort and affordability. My Crocs is colored Chocolate, has fiber-textured heel, has the exclusive Croslite material for Crocs shoes, reinforced shank which provides great support on the arch, circulation nubs for blood flow stimulation and a footbed which conforms to your foot creating a custom fit for a great comfort. The heel is just right, I think it's only around half an inch.
I tried it and since then, I never let go of my Alice Crocs. It is so comfortable. I have worn it during our trip to the US and the whole time, I never had problems. Since I am flat-footed, my feet gets a little swollen and painful during continuous walks. After wearing this Alice Crocs shoes, I don't think any of my other "comfortable" shoes can vie for the Most Comfortable Shoes title. I love this Crocs. It's not expensive and yet it is very comfortable and soft.
