This movie is more of a re-make than anything of the 2003 "Hulk" movie (I have also written a review on that). As I have said before, I am a hardcore comic book fan, and I know what I'm talking about when it comes to superheroes. "The Incredible Hulk", a movie released in 2008, is a great improvement on the original "Hulk" movie; however, it was greatly played down in reviews because its release was so close to that of "Ironman". Because of this, the movie didn't get the great reviews it so greatly deserved. This movie was very accurate in comparison to the comic book. The Hulk says "Hulk smash!" in this one, as opposed to the 2003 "Hulk" movie (Don't worry, that's not the only reason why it's true to the comic books...). This movie even left a few cool easter eggs for fans, hinting at a sequel, or possibly a plot for the upcoming "Avengers" movie, which Hulk will play a major roll in. The movie keeps the plot exciting, without using excessive violence. It delves into Bruce's mindset on his predicament without going into so much detail that the movie becomes boring. It doesn't go into too much detail on the Hulk's creation, but that's good since it's well known now and would be redundant in a movie. "The Incredible Hulk" gives the fans what they want, while still appealing to people who aren't as familiar with the comic books. All in all, this movie was a great improvement on the previous one. If you are a fan, or you just like superhero movies, this movie is perfect for you, and I highly recommend it.
