I have to say this is the ONLY film I have ever seen Uma Thurman in that I did not like. It had nothing to do with her abilities, because I think she is an amazingly talented actress. The theme of the movie was believable, but the way it played out was terribly confusing leaving me frustrated and disappointed.
It is based on the school shootings that terrorized us and our children over the past recent years.
It follows two best friends who experience typical high school dramas, until one day while in the restroom they hear screams and pop pop pop. They are trapped in the bathroom by the school shooter begging for their lives. BUT, even at the end of the movie, you are left unsure of who lived and who did not.
The movie jumped from current to past so many times, leaving you not knowing what was suppose to be real or a dream.
I was really disappointed in this movie, but it was like a train wreck, you died not want to see the aftermath, but you eyes were glued to it in horror. I did not care for this one at all, save your money folks.
