So i purchased the Magic Bullet Single Shot 2 years ago and rarely use it. For me it is kind of a disapointment, it does nothing like the infomercial promises, it doesnt chop, dice or shred!! Everything turns soupy or mushy, i've tried everything to change the consistency of my veggies, but i keep getting the same results, i have even done as the infomercial says by giving 3 short pulses, but i still get the soupy puree consistency!!

The Single Shot style only comes with one blade, so maybe that is why it doesnt shred, dice or chop! This style also doesnt juice or crush ice! It works like a blender but i find my blender does more than the Magic Bullet Single Shot. If you are going to purchase a Magic Bullet maybe go for the complete set as it comes with both blades, the juicer, the bullet, the blender and cups with colored rings, also the shakers. The Single Shot comes with the bullet, a shaker, 2 cups and colored rings.

The Single Shot would be perfect for making baby food, puree's, sauces, milkshakes, smoothies, protein shakes and soups, basically anything liquidy. But if you want what the infomercial advertises try the complete set, maybe that will shred, chop etc, the complete set also advertises that it has a doughblade.

The Single Shot is not a bad product, i just wish it did as it advertises on tv, and even on the box i purchased it in claimed to do all the things in the infomercial!

I bought the Single Shot on sale for $29.99 regular price $39.99, the complete set i have seen for $129.99-149.99.
