Whenever we feel like coming down with a cold or something, we take Formor's non-acidic Vitamin C called Super C. It is non acidic because it is not ascorbic acid but rather sodium ascorbate.

Since we are sick, our bodies need higher doses of Vitamin C. But ascorbic acid is too much to take on the stomach if we take more than 500 mg a day. So we take Super C up to six times a day, 500 mg at a time, with no side effects. Vitamin C builds our resistance and speeds up our recovery from sickness. I have experienced this myself.

The good thing with Super C is it is not a drug, but just a vitamin that our bodies. It is very safe, even for infants and pregnant mothers. I took it when I had the flu during my first trimester.

Whenever we don't have sickness, 500 mg of Super C a day is enough for preventive measures.

This is a really good product and is available in 340 grams tubs. They have capsules, too, but my sister in law (who buys this for the family) prefers the tub because it is much cheaper.

The downside is, Formor is a networking company and so because of members' commissions, the product has become pricey. This is really too bad, because such a good product is not very accessible for many people as it is expensive.
