This is a show created by Angus Oblong based on his compilation of short stories entitled, "Creepy Susie and 13 Other Tragic Tales for Troubled Children." The primary focus is on a family that lives in the contaminated valley which is the section of the community that's intended for the poor folk. There are two classes in this series and they're both made evident quite often, the "Hill People" and the "Valley Folk." The show basically follows Milo, the son of Bob and Pickles Oblong through his misadventures. Negating the fact that this show was only thirteen episodes long, it was a fantastic breath of fresh air (Ironic, eh?). It was first aired on Adult Swim in 2001 while the DVD was only recently released and even though there aren't that many special features it's still worth the money, given how incredibly unique and entertaining the show it's self is. If you've ever watched the show on Adult Swim then you'd understand what I'm about to say. I cannot express in words how great this show is. I'm a tough critic when it comes to cartoons too, especially those that are intended for adults. I'm saying this with the utmost sincerity, watch the show, if you like it (Most certainly will) buy the DVD. Again, it's well worth the money.
