I recently purchased the Samsung Flight cell phone from my local RadioShack. The first great thing about this phone, which would only apply to AT&T customers, is that it is free if you are renewing a 2 year contract and if you buy it from RadioShack. I've never had a touch screen phone and have always been a bit apprehensive about them. I feel a made a good choice with this purchase though. The touch screen is sensitive, but not too sensitive. Also, if you don't feel comfortable using the screen, there is a slide out QWERTY keyboard, great for fast texters. The phone is just small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and very light weight and stylish. The Samsung Flight is equipped with a 2.0 megapixel camera that can also capture video. Along with the internal memory, the phone has Micro SD compatibility. Even though it does not come with the USB cord made for hooking up to your computer, if your computer has Bluetooth, it can connect to the Flight through that. Battery life is moderate. As always with AT&T phones, I get signal almost everywhere I go. This is not a smartphone, but it still comes with some great features, such as an App Store where you can purchase games and things such as a GPS tracker. The durability and over all life seems like it will be good, I can see this phone lasting a long time. If you are looking to make an upgrade to a simple, yet versatile touch screen phone, then I suggest the Samsung Flight.
