Ive been addicted to the Sims the day the original game came out. Ever since I have been a hardcore addict to the series.
The Sims 2 Apartment Life is the last and final expansion pack in The Sims 2 series. Fear not my fellow simmers, the Sims 3 will be hitting shelves this February of 2009.
Anyhow, I bought the final pack and felt a little sad, particularly because I knew this would be the last and final pack for my beloved Sims.
What I Expected:
Well seeing that it was the last expansion I was expecting that wonderful BANG of a game. I expected Maxis to go the extra mile to satisfy their fans, I expected all new game play, yet with the same familiar feel. I expected more content such as clothes, and decorations.
What I Got:
Basically the Sims 2 Apartment Life is the Sims 2 University all over again. The newly added apartments don't throw much into the game, but it is new... even though it is very similar to University.
Some new clothing and decorations were added, but nothing jaw dropping, and there were definitely no WOW moments either.
The best thins about the game though is that they added new Witch NPCS. For me though it was like a cleaner version of the original Makin Magic expansion pack we all saw for the original game.
Overall I'm pretty disappointed. I hope Maxis works on delivering better things for the upcoming Sims 3.
