The teaching cash register is really a great educational toy that can be found on HSN or at Toys R Us. What makes this cash register so nice is that it will actually talk to your child and tell them how much money they have in their cash drawer. It also has several games that your child can play and is a great way for them to learn or practice their math skills while playing. My children have even learned how to count money better than ever before. This register does cost about fifty dollars no matter where you go but in the long run it is definitly worth the money. Another feature I really liked is the automatic shutoff that helps to make the batteries last longer. Most kids often forget to turn their toys off when they are finished playing and this is a great additional feature.
