I bought the Dell XPS 630 on sale. The desktop was already customized for gaming greatness. Normally this particular model would sell for around $1400 or more, but seeing that it was the last in the store, and the shelf model, I got it for an absolute steal for $899!

The desktop is decked out featuring Intel Dual Core 2 E8400, 6GB, NVidia GeForce 9800 GT. I would have preferred a 9800GTX, but I can always go and add the new card at a later date.

The system boots up in less than 30 seconds, and shuts down in faster than that. My older Gateway sometimes would take up to 2 minutes just to power down. I never knew computers could power on and off with such speed.

The main thing I wanted to XPS630 for though was gaming. I love my games, and I love being able to play them without glitching, humming sounds, or shut downs.

With the XPS630 I had no issues at all. I was amazed at how fast and efficient the machine was able to run every game I threw at it.

The Dell XPS630 also is a silent beauty. It makes no noise, and no humming sounds. The machine can also be run for hours and it stays cool. If you put your hand down by the towers grill faceplate you will feel the cool air pumping out by the towers inside fans.

I have had the machine for a few weeks now, and have had absolutely no issues with it at all. It handles whatever game or software I throw at it, with speed and enthusiasm.

I never in my life knew a PC could run this great. I have had quite a few rigs in my time, but nothing, and I mean nothing comes close to being what I would consider a dream gaming machine, quite like the Dell XPS630.

I highly recommend this desktop to gamers!
