My husband was saying that his leather gloves were not keeping his hands warm enought this winter. Leather gloves are nice looking but sometimes they can be cold. So I set off to go shopping at my favorite store called Meijers. I found this pair of Falls Creek gloves on clearance. The regular price of these gloves was $19.99 and even at that price they are well worth the money.
These winter style gloves are insulated with 40 grams of Thermosoft material. They are very lightweight, soft, warm and easy to wash in the machine. They are charcoal with a leather like palm. The cuff has elastic at the wrist and an adjustable top that easily closes to keep out the wind and snow from entering his hands. I like the plastic clip that is attached to the gloves on the side. Just clip them together when you aren't wearing them! This will solve the old problem of "where's my other glove?" I have a whole basket full of one handed gloves! I guess I keep them because I am secretly hoping that the other one comes home someday!
I really like the style of these gloves. They are not as stylish and his leather gloves but in the wintertime when it's below zero outside....who cares if they are stylish or not!
I wish I had been able to pick up an extra pair of these Falls Creek gloves for myself. When I shoveled the snow these really kept my hands warm. Of course his are way too big for me. If I had found them earlier in the season, I could have found a small size for myself. Guess next fall I will be shopping for gloves before they sell out of these.
