This is a mix between Legally Blonde and Mean Girls. That being said, I am a fan of both of those movies. This is a chick flick even guys can appreciate- if for nothing else than the scantily clad girls. This is one of those corny humored movies. Some parts are laugh out loud funny and some parts are stupid funny.
Story: Shelly is a fun loving girl who has it all. She lives at the playboy mansion and is hoping to be the November Playmate. Then she is kicked out. All the girl wants is a home to call her own. After being snubbed by one sorority she decides to become house mother to the Zeta's. The Zeta's are a group of misfit/nerdy girls who need 30 pledges in order to save their home.
I liked the underlying theme of being who you are and not who people want you to be. Anna Farris (Shelly) is really funny and brings a lot of comedy to the movie. Rumer Willis (Bruce & Demi's daughter) plays a Zeta girl. While her role is small she is pretty funny. Colin Hanks (Tom Hanks son) plays a guys Shelly likes- he is also good. This movie is definately a guilty pleasure. While it was not as good as Legally Blonde or Mean Girls it is worth watching at least once.
