I don’t have very much to say about this phone, as we owned it all of four days before we took it back and got a different phone altogether. I can’t recommend it.
We recently switched to a phone plan where we no longer have a wired home phone, but all our numbers go to cell phones. This meant that we needed one more cell phone. I asked for a small one, since I would be the one who would carry the new one around the most. I already have the LG AX275 and am really happy with it. But hubby didn’t want to get another one of those. So he chose the LG AX300. It was about the same size as the other one, which is a very slim 3 ½ x 1 3/4 x 3/4 inches. This was all good, and I was prepared to be as happy as possible (since I’m not crazy about the new system).
But every call sounded like it was being made from the bottom of an empty oil drum. The reception was terrible. The first day I thought that it was just the connection of those particular calls. By the end of day four I was really almost ready to cry. I use that phone for my business calls, and it was so difficult to hear conversations clearly that I just couldn’t tolerate it.
So that phone went back, and we now have one that hubby picked out, and on which we get good clear voice quality.
