If there were heaven in a small appliance.. this would be it.

I can't count how many wonderful meals I've had from this sandwich maker. After a long day of classes, nothing tastes as good as coming home, slapping a view pieces of left over meat together between two slices of bread, slipping it into this godly machine, and having a hot sandwich for minimal costs.

Did it really save my life? Nah, it just makes really good sandwiches. Think of a grilled cheese made on a traditional frying pan. Cool. Now think of having a grilled cheese made twice as fast, cooked to perfection every time, with little to no burn factor. Amazing! I got the Meal Maker as a graduation present, but some research proved that the moderately priced ($30 or less) machine is well worth it.

The best thing about this sandwich maker is that it is so versatile in the types of sandwiches that it makes - try out these beauties in your new maker:

Classic Grilled Cheese -- Try this all American sandwich with either real or processed cheese and a side of tomato soup!

Pizza Sandwich -- My personal favourite. All you need is some cheese, sandwich meat, and pizza sauce!

Apple Turnover -- That's right, this machine can make desert sandwiches! Two pieces of bread + one can of apple pie filling (or any pie filling) + sandwich maker = desert sandwich maker.

The only downside to this sandwich maker is the fact that cleaning it can be a chore if you get crusty cheese, as it can't be entirely submerged in water. Other than that, sandwich away!
