Full Collapse is the first that I've listened to among Thursday's albums. At first, their songs did not strike me as anything special. However, as I listened to their songs again, they sort of grew on me! Their songs are the type that will last in your mind and you won't get bored over. Unlike some songs by other bands that I really liked at the beginning, but later found them tiresome to listen to. Thursday's music stays.
A few of my favorites from this album are Understanding in a Car Crash, Autobiography of a Nation, and Standing on the Edge of Summer.
Their lyrics are full of intense images. Their lead vocalist is melodious and soft, contrasting against the course screams of the back-up vocals and adding up to an aggressive effect. The drum sounds cool and mechanical, the bassist creates fast base lines that is just perfect for their music. All in all, their music creates a unique experience.
Thursday is a band that I highly recommend, and particularly this album, Full Collapse.
