Mu sister is a Day Care provider. When her kids act up, she needs somewhere to send them when they need a time out. Sur, she can put them on the stairs, in the living room on the couch, or at the dining room table, but either one of those placed don't really qualify as time out places because you use them on an everyday basis.
To solve this problem, she went to Ikea and found this Time Out chair. She places in the Family room and when the children act up, they go to this "special" chair.
The chair is made out of wood and is painted blue and red. It has the words "Time Out" on the back rest. It can hold a child up to about 50 pounds or so and it is very sturdy. It is not too heavy so if you need to move it you won't break your back.
I suggest getting one of these for your child. It will not only serve it's purpose for a time out chair but it will be somewhere special that you send the child to let them know whatever they did was wrong.
