I recently used up my foundation from Origins and I was shopping for a new one. I wanted something natural/organic because I am a little paranoid about my skin soaking up chemicals. I have always been curious about the organic line from Physician's Formula so I was browsing their products. I did not want to get a powder foundation because winter is on it's way and a power foundation will dry out my skin way too much. The only alternative I found at the time was a tinted moisturizer. I have never tried tinted moisturizers because I worry that it wouldn't provide the medium coverage that I prefer but since my skin is on the dry side and needs moisture, I decided to try it. There were only 2 shades to choose from. I couldn't test it but made an educated guess at what color would match my skin and paid $11. I tried it and was surprised at how watery it is compared to liquid foundation. Kind of like a thin lotion. It went on very smoothly and I was pretty pleased at the coverage. It seemed a little oily at first because I noticed that my forehead shined after I applied it but that went away in a few minutes. It smelled nice and my skin looked good and very natural. I like the added benefit of it being a moisturizer as well. I still use my regular lotion under it since I don't think the tinted moisturizer will be enough to hydrate my skin during winter.
Just an added tip, the Origins store will take any cosmetic container from any brand and recycle it for you.
