There are a lot of women's magazines out there, but most of them are geared towards a general audience of readers. Today's Christian Woman is a magazine geared, as its title suggests, towards Christian women and provides a perspective that is unique to that particular demographic. It addresses issues of concern to those of us who are part of the faith community, with quality articles about family relationships, friendship, health, crisis situations and more. Most folks would think that a Christian-themed magazine would be nice, sedate and a publication that steers clear of life's hardest topics, but that isn't the case with Today's Christian Woman. It deals with some very hard-hitting subjects, like divorce, suicide, miscarriage and the like. I really like reading Today's Christian Woman, because I can easily relate to it and it encourages me to stand strong, when faced with everyday challenges, big and small. You can get a year's subscription for $17.95, but there are only 6 issues annually, so I prefer to just buy individual issues at the newsstand, when they look interesting.
