I had bought my Toshiba laptop over a year ago. It still works just as well as it did when I first bought it. Laptops used to be silver, now there are some choices The one I bought has what they call a fusion finish. That is not a big deal at all really like they make it out too. The fusion finish is a dark black finish, but if you put your fingers on it, you see your fingerprints. Some of the specs:
17' screen, full sized keyboard including numbers on the side, Harman/kadon speakers, 4GB memory, 2 200gb hard drive, Touchpad, DVD burner, Duel Core Processor, Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit edition
See when I was going to get this laptop, I didn't want to get a small screen I wanted to have at least 17" Last time that I had bought a laptop, I did not get that. This time, I got exactly what I wanted. I even had a full sized keyboard which is not something you would get with a laptop.
This particular laptop would be considered a desktop replacement. What is nice though is that I can take this places with me still. It's not super heavy, but it is still heavy.
The sound is probably one of the best features. Most laptops have crappy sound. This one, the sound is great. You don't even need to buy speakers for this computer.
One thing I do have problems with here and there is the dvd drive. For some reason, sometimes the computer does not read it like it detached from the computer. I shut the computer off. Put it upside down and jiggle it a bit and it usually works.
Is this computer worth buying? For me, I would say yes.
