I did a review on Touched By An Angel, Season One, and now I am reviewing Season Two of this great series.
Roma Downey and Della Reese portray angels who come to earth to help troubled and struggling people in whatever trials and tribulations they are going through. The shows are truly inspirational and heartwarming (at least they were to me).
One thing I especially liked about Season Two was the introduction of John Dye portraying Andrew, the Angel of Death. It is his job to take to heaven those who are dying and ready to leave this world. I especially liked the fact that whenever Andrew had to accompany someone to the other side, it was always done in a comforting and tasteful way, never anything scary. There are 22 episodes, though if I remember correctly, since I haven't watched Season Two in the last few months, I don't think there are any special features (though the program is so good that I don't feel any are needed).
If you are a religious person, I think you would enjoy watching Touched By An Angel, Season Two.
