My friend desperately needed a new vehicle as his trusty old Reliant vintage 1989 had just about bitten the bullet. He decided to look for a well made Japanese car. He had heard too much negative information on American made cars. He was engaging in a tremendous quest to obtain a vehicle that would give him superb service. His search took him to many dealerships and he found his new Corolla at the Toyota super store in Hartford, Ct. My friend is very particular and what impressed him quite a bit was the track record over the years that the Corolla has blazed. He liked the response and handling as he test drove it. Looking it over it appeared very well cared for. He also tried Sentra'a and Altima's by Nissan as well. Even Camry's. He became very tired of driving around his old Reliant with no air conditioning and sometimes there were problems starting it. He says he is very pleased with his new Corolla and I gave it a try one day and I also had a very good impression of it as well. An additional comment would be that the automatic transmission shifts very smooth as well. All in all a very nice choice.
