Treadmill For A Big Man

I am a big guy. (300+ lbs.). I compared virtually every treadmill on the market before I decided on the ProForm 995SEL. Not only is it sturdy enough to take a pounding from all my weight, it has a powerful motor to handle the load. Also, the belt is 22 inches wide. That was an important factor for me. Most treadmills have 18 or 20 inch-wide belts, and the cheaper ones even have only 16 inches wide. I want to be able to take a normal stride without having to worry about stepping off the side of the belt. I don't want to have to keep watching my feet. The motor is quiet, the platform has adjustable cushioning to help take it easy on the legs, and it is very easy to fold up and push into a corner when not in use. It has 4 pre-programmed workouts, or you can control your own with the well-designed display. It comes with 2 small dumbbells that reside in the control panel, and there is a cup holder. Speed ranges from 1mph to 10mph, and incline from 1.5 to 10 degrees. (Standard at this pricepoint). A big plus is the free ifit software/site, that you can plug the treadmill to a computer, and it will program/design endless numbers of workouts just for you, along with music, virtual trainer, and videos of walks all around the world that you can see/follow. This treadmill has taken a beating from me for a year now, and is still like new. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking at this pricepoint!
