Tru Tech Under Cabinet Cd Player Gets The Job Done

Simply put, I purchased the TruTech undercabinet cd player because I was determined to have one and couldn't really afford one, so I bought the cheapest Target offered. Overall, I am satisfied, but it's the little things that make me wish I would have purchased a higher end, better quality model. One of the things I dislike most is if you have a flat, buttom cabinet with no overhanging lip, the unit does not sit flush on the bottom. They have screw nubs that leave a 1/2" gap between the top of the unit and the bottom of the cabinet. While it does become a convenient spot to stash your cds, it doesn't look so great. The nubs are part of the unit's outside casing, so there is nothing that can be done about them. The sound quality, that's so so. You have to turn the volume up pretty loud on their volume scale to hear it well and that somewhat distorts the sound. I've also had a little trouble with the cd tray, sometimes it does not want to close completely and I have to give it a little tap. I'm happy with everything else about the unit.
