Every once in a while my husband likes to pick up something different at the store, sometimes just for a change of pace and sometimes to save a little money. I love Oreo Sandwich Cookies, so hubby picked up Great Value Sandwich Cookies at Walmart recently. They are somewhat cheaper than Oreos, but not as good in flavor.
These cookies are double filled, though I don't see a big difference in the amount of filling. They are called Twist and Shout Chocolate Sandwich Cookies. Two cookies have 140 calories, 6 grams of total fat, 0 mg of cholesterol, 105 mg of sodium, 21 grams of total carbohydrates, and 13 grams of sugars.
They aren't bad tasting, but I can taste a difference from Oreos. I still prefer Oreo Cookies the best, but in a pinch these cookies will do. They would be great with milk, though I don't usually eat them that way because I am not a big milk drinker. The kids would probably enjoy them.
All in all, not a bad cookie, but I still prefer my Oreos.
